1997 Subaru outback wagon pricing? Want to buy this used Subaru?

dog wagon
melaniecampbell asked:

I have the opportunity to buy a 1997 Subaru Outback in excellent shape for $600. The thing is, while it has everything Iw ant in a vehicle, it also has 408,000 kms on it. It had a new gas tank and brakes put in 25k ago, but I’m still wary of the high kms on it. I will need it to run good for about 2 or 3 years for me, so… is this a good deal? I don’t know a ton about cars, but I do know I really need something for me, my 2 kids, and our 2 dogs. Thanks.

OH I also have the choice to buy a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport with 175000k for $600. What’s the better deal, keeping in mind I do really like wagons!

THANKS!

Siberian Huskies?

dog wagon
Jennifer C asked:

Hi, I have an 11 week old red siberian husky. I did a lot of research before we brought him home and I read that they love pulling things and that its recommended for exercise. While I know he is still way too young, I am wondering if this is actually what they LOVE to do before I look into it more. I also want to do it the right way…I just dont want to hook him up to a wagon and let him go at it, so would I talk to a dog trainer or the vet for more information about it if it is something this breed does enjoy?
Thank you soo much for the information and experiences! Who would I talk to about getting him started and what age to get him acclimated (if they need to be)? And yes haha I already found out how much he loves linoleum flooring. He’s gotten pieces of it up already in the bathroom, but it was about time for a new floor anyway.
Thank you all again soo much for soo much information and support!

Is the beginning of my short story any good? Would you want to continue reading? (picking best answer)?

The police station is like most other buildings in the small town. The old fashioned rusty doors squeak as they’re opened and close. There have never been many cases bad enough for a jail house to be built. Instead, the prisons are shipped out of town on a small, bared wagon. But like everything else in the town, it is used at least once a year, and then forgotten until needed again.
The town itself is no more than a cross of a couple of long streets, only two intersections are located in it. The first intersection is the life of the town. People are frequently buzzing around the area, traveling to the farms west bound of the section or the shops, south. The north end of the town is covered in small, dirty, ugly houses with leaky roofs and weedy, crunchy, yellow grass.
The second intersection lies west right by the farm lands. Three houses cover each corner. It is never busy there. Only the wealthiest people in the town own land in the area. The grass is tender and green. The flowers blossom in vibrant bunches across the garden yards. The best flowers in the town belong to Rogerson Quinn. Shortly behind had been Miss Courtney Weles. The two were had fought with no mercy over who owned the best garden. Miss Courtney had a sharp taste for colours, always making them root better, and grow prouder then Rogerson’s. But his grass grew more warm smells and his flower patterns where gentler.
Miss. Courtney had only her wealth to pride over; after all, she was the only person in the town who had a maid and a dog. Her maid’s name was Stella Wills. Stella had a sweet smile, and light, silky, milk chocolate hair. She had been over worked by Miss. Courtney, but kept her cool. The village was just waiting for her to snap.
Miss. Courtney’s father had money, and died rich, leaving her plenty to last a luxurious life. Each day, she called a cab to drive her to the city where she shopped and dined all day and night. Her father’s dog remained at home. Ronald was a golden retriever, the most beautiful thing any villager had seen, though she was not particularly fond of him. She left him at home with Stella and Connor Blank. Connor was her father’s brother, and his close friend. But Miss. Courtney had her own opinions about him.
Miss. Courtney may have had the money, and privacy she needed, but not the respect. You see, Miss. Courtney had a little bit of dirt on everyone in the town, from the little boy across the village who broke a plate, to the chief of police who stole an apple from the market cart, with her large ears and eyes, nothing was a secret in the small shabby town. If only she was here now, to tell us who had killed her.

this is writtin in 3rd person and what happens next is a detective gathers three suspects (Rogerson Quinn, Stella Wills, and Conner Blank) and each have a flash back and tell what they remember happend that night Courtney was killed an say that they are inosent. The problem is, none of them can remember what happens right before her death. you end up finding out who the killer is at the end of the story.
plz, rate this a…
1 – trash it
2 – needs work
3 – not bad
4 – pretty interesting
5 – amazing, really interesting
and would you read more???
i kinda have to talk about the flowers and grass b/c thats the conflict between Rogerson and Courtney
all i asked for is if my story and basic ideas were okay, not a spell check. i know my spellings lousy but i can only do so much at once. i want to know if my story is worth spell checking and serious reviewing. i dont wana do a ton of work for nothing. but thx, Lawrence i will deffinetly be fixing those sentances.

What does this dream mean?

dog wagon
Joey Crawford is love asked:

I was in my old hometown in Alaska. I was walking with my parents thru town.(im 14) My cousins and sister were there and we were pulling my little sister in a wagon. Also, their was a cute guy there I didnt know his name or who he was…but in the dream we were really close. Then we end up at this abandonded garage/shop and as all dreams dont make sense, we were surronded by crime scene tape. A dead person was laying on the cold floor. The guy my age who seemed like he was close to me walked away to check up on everyone and make sure everyone was safe. Also my age, were a fat kid and a ghostly kid with pale skin and long black hair. There was something about his eyes…like an emptyness. I looked and saw my blue truck. I opend the door and pet my dog. Every time the kid with long black hair waked by my dog would bark and try to attack him. He came up, put his arm around me and the dream faded. But I can remember the guy I seemed close to running twords us and my dog attacking creepyboy

Can someone give me stories/advice about my puppy problem?

dog wagon
MiamiVice™ asked:

I have a dog who was pregnant(by an unknown male..yeah) and she’s Lab/Pit/Retriever. That’s probably irrelevant, but she had eleven puppies with one a stillborn and now we have ten in the garage who’ve been fighting, biting and tearing things up. They’re about seven weeks old and I was choosing one for myself today while the others are going to other homes, when one stood out particularly. They’re all very cute and seem to have different faces, but this one puppy(girl) was very calm. Probably the calmest even when her brothers and sisters fight around her. I reached out to her and she hid under a wagon and inched further away while the others were trying to eat my hand off or thought it was some kind of game.

Somehow I got a hold of her and slowly stroked her fur and behind her ears and under her chin and I took her in the house(she’s the first puppy to go inside). She sniffed around and watched a little Animal Planet, made a few whines and let me pet her some more. I took her back out to the garage with her brothers and sisters and she hasn’t shied away from me yet. What I really want to know is, is she just a naturally shy dog? Or will she perk up with maturity. Honestly I’d rather have a shy one than the rest of her aggressive siblings.
Firstly, don’t accuse me of being a “bad person” because of the dogs being in the garage. It’s not a shack the garage is attached to the house. The mother IS NOT MY DOG, it’s my uncle’s who lives with us and all the puppies are HIS responsibility which I have volunteered to keep one as my own. He’s not breeding dogs! goddang!

Thanks you to those who were kind enough to answer MY question and not criticize and make assumptions about my situation.
